Adrian Columb is a visual artist(and musician), that mostly works in oil and acrylic, but is also skilled in other mediums.

Born in 1978, eldest of 6, he began his life in Dublin, Ireland. From a young age he spent a lot of time ”doodling”, even selling drawings of Superman, E.T. and other popular characters of the day, to his classmates. 

His family moved to England in 1989, where they lived in Stamford, Lincolnshire. After secondary education in Peterborough, he attended Stamford College studying Art and Design. While in college he also made a fair income from pencil portraits, small murals, pub chalkboards, and other art commissions. 

Deciding to travel his skills further a field, his late teens/early 20’s were spent backpacking, busking and drawing caricatures for tourists around Europe. His travels took him to Canada and finally America. He settled in Nevada City, California for eight years, where his daughter Cecilia and son Quin were born. It was through playing music there he met his wife Joell, also a musician. She convinced him to trade the Sierra Foothills for her home town in the Ozark Mountains. Mountain View, Arkansas is where Adrian revived his love for visual arts and painting. He quickly became sought after for his portraits, landscapes, bespoke signs and large murals.

In 2018, after living in the U.S. for nearly 18 years, he is thrilled to have moved back, family in tow, to Ireland.

Adrian’s home and studio is currently in the middle of the historic town of Askeaton, Co. Limerick.
